I'm building a 1946 Ford coupe it has a lincoln versailles rearend i'm redoing everything calipers, rotors, new gears, seals but I think the rear mounting brackets for the calipers are on backwards is that possible? I can't find a picture of the rearend but the calipers don't seem to line up can anyone tell me where I can find a manual or picture to help me. Thanks

One of our moderators, Charlie Ping, has a great page about this on his site, maybe the pics there will help.http://www.geocities.com/cping3/lincolnversailles.html If not, maybe he has other pics. If you can't find a technical reference (shop manual), you can ask your local FORD partsperson to burn you an illustration off his CDP. Ask for the rear brake illustration for an '80 Versailles.
