The '65 body was far superior to the '66/7. [This message has been edited by fordfan (edited 07-12-2002).]

66 was the sharpest! 65 had ugly tail and headlamps. IN 66 they sharpened the car up and by 67 they ruined it again. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl

Yeah, I love those '66 taillights! But all of them had crappy dashes, though. I never liked the flat speedos. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1, '72 Mustang Sprint, '94 F-150 Pics MCA Member # 47773

those are my favorite features... '66 the grille is too blocky, headlight doors are too rounded, the mid-bodyline should have been straight (that really, is the deciding factor.). just to me the total package doesn't flow. basicly, Its butt is too big (Que the music) then again...... I also like the '65 Fairlanes, and '68 Falcon. I also prefer the rounded lines of the '68 mustang better than the straight lines of the '64-6 stang.
