Hooker makes super comp headers that'll fit a 390 in a big car. You can get them from any speed shop.I got mine from Barnett Racing in Atlanta Ga. They are not cheap( better than $300.) If you go this route, get them ceramic coated - they'll last forever and look "killer".

That's OK. We need the traffic on this forum anyway. We'll take OOPS's anytime.

I think I was the one looking for 390 headers. I don't think Hooker offers them in a ceramic coated version. Any idea how I can go about having this done? The headers are about $350 from Summit, I believe. Coating will probably add another $200 or so, correct? Hooker didn't list a part number on their site for coated headers for 390 Galaxies. I definitely would like to go this route as I have had non-coated headers and they looked like crap after the first day of driving with them on.

I think you're right about having to get your headers coated elsewhere. Down here we can get our stuff done by anybody that does powdercoating. Check with your local street rod business, theyll surely know who does it. If you haven't got a strret rod shop handy, find someone in the MSRA(Minnisota Stret Rod Assn). Or better yet, wait for a cruise night and ask a steetrodder.
If all else fails, contact www.jet-hot.com .I don't know where they are from, but they started this ceamic coating thing.(610 277 5646)
Good Luck!

Thanks for the tip on the street rodders. Saw a few of them last weekend on cruise night with their MN street rodder jackets. I'm sure there's a shop around here that does it.

Thanks again!
