I'm tossing around the idea of a Richmond 5-speed into my '65. Has anyone here ever done this, seen it done or heard about it?What kind of options on the pedal setup might I have? ------------------ Laugh at your problems, everybody else does... Sorry,Dwane,I haven't seen it done. I'm sure it can, since it's a big car, with lots of room in the transmission tunnel. You'll probably have to bolt it up to the engine, and construct things like a tranny mount and shift/clutch linkage as you go. [This message has been edited by MLariviere (edited 03-14-2002).]

They were available from the factory with 4-speeds and there is plenty of room in the tunnel. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 US Class Nationals link

Hey Alex, you wouldn't happen to have a clutch and brake pedal set for one of these big-uns you'd be willing to part with, would you? ------------------ Laugh at your problems, everybody else does...
