Is the axle flange of a '65 Galaxie 9" housing the "Large Ford" or the "Large Ford, New Style"? When did they change? ------------------ "It only takes money" Dwayne M&M Member #18 '94 Lightning #942 of 4007 '70 Mach1 3 '69 Cyclone Spoiler II's '65 Galaxie 500 + parts car

Could be large, could be small. Depends on the engine it came with. It is the old style. Changeover was in the early 70's circa late 1971. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 US Class Nationals link

PS, late style can be indentified by a two piece axle bearing with a race that is pressed into the housing. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 US Class Nationals link
