Hi all,I don't know much about Galaxies,I recently saw a pretty clean 65 convertible for sale and I took down the vin,the engine code was x.I was wondering what engine this code stands for. Also There was no price on it and no one was around, off the top of your heads,What is something like this worth assuming it's not rotted out underneath and a decent driver. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure the code x is a 390 2v. those were some great cars. I would say that if it was in a good driver condition, with all systems working safely, decent tires and no real bad rustthrough, about $3k. Convertibles are worth more. just be sure to look it all over good, since you are in the rust belt. These old cars didn't last long up here.
