I just bought some Falcon parts from someone on Ebay who has a '62 Galaxie "M" code 390.What is a "M" code? It takes me back to the days of 406s, 409s and the little old lady from Pasadena's Super Stock Dodge.------------------

I believe on the Mercs M designates the tri-power carb setup? Maybe same on Galaxie?

"M" code is a 62-63 390 340 HP hydraulic cam Tri-power engine. Automatic only in T-Bird and full size car lines. Very rare as most were full house "G" code 375 HP solid lifter hot dogs.  ------------------
