I am a long term Mustanger, but I just picked up a '69 Torino GT SportsRoof. What other model years will parts interchange with this? I am particularly interested in sheetmetal, as well as other pertinent items. Thanks in advance for any help. Charlie

Sheet metal is limited to '68/'69. Doors and glass are the same on Ford and Mercury. Front suspension and engine compartment from '66-'69 interchange. The '70/'71 chassis are wider.Tracy

DidgeyTrucker: Just what I needed. Can I correctly assume that hoods, doors, and trunk lids on Fairlane, Torino, Cyclone, and Montego are all the same for the '68-69? I understand that the formal roof will have different trunk lid than the sport roof. How about fenders, quarters, fender extensions? Many thanks, Charlie

Doors and deck lids (fastbacks for sure) interchange. Formal roof deck lids might be the same-I don't know. Hoods are different. Rear quarter panel extensions are different. Rear bumpers are the same, fronts are different. Dashboards are different. All the chassis components interchange. Tracy

I have a question, what components for a Mustang will fit on a 69 Torino? I have one and I would love to tap into the vast Mustang aftermarket parts supply.
