My local swap meet was this weekend and what a disapiontment (again) if i had been biulding a camaro chevelle or impala i could have biult a new one. Everywhere you looked was sb or bb chevy part priced at nothing (flat top sbc pistons 50 bucks new). The only ford parts i found were priced like they were gold. It seems like everytime i go to one of these things its always the same chevy parts shoved down your throught, for some reason i still go. Why dont these dealers understand or realize that there is more out there than chevy. I didnt even see a mopar part at all. Is it the same all over? is there some kind of conspearacy where chevy pays for the product pushing tring to take over the market or are these dealers that bias that they wont carry anything else. Im starting to wonder

That's seems to be the usual, unless you go to a Ford specific event.

What really pisses me off is when I go to a Ford only event and those idiots from Edelbrock are there with their 90% Chevy display. I've seen that at Fun Ford Weekends and even at last year's Mustang 40th. One time I even said don't you guys feel like morons with a table full of chevy parts at a Ford event? The guy's reply was 'We go with what sells, and a lot of these guys have a chevy sitting at home too.'
