Heh guys, I've been offered a nice 72 Gran Torino, and I can't find an on-line decoder. Mustangs are so easy!!!
Can anyone steer me to one? Things like the plant and body style in this VIN are nothing like a Stang, and the guy says the H means an original 351C 4V, even though for a Stang that would be a 2V.
The VIN he gave me is 2A35H208317.
Any help appreciated!
Simon

I didn't look through the site.. but thats 71's you might be able to find a 72 there as well!

Hope this helps some. I'd do some more searching but stepping out the door. So good luck!

Thanks Luke! That site only does VINs for 70 and 71, but it's a keeper nonetheless. Really detailed!
I think it's also highly likely the codes didn't change from year to year, so mine was built in Atlanta, Torino GT Sportroof, 351C 2V.

The site moved that had the most torino info.

http://www.grantorinosport.atfreeweb.com/index.htm

They are putting it back together, so stuff isn't back up yet, but their old page had everything you'd want to know.
