Hey there fellow 66-69 Fairlane/Torino owners. There is a company out there called Pypes Performance Exhaust at http://www.pypesexhaust.com I have contacted them about producing a 2-1/2 and 3 exhaust system for 1966, 1967, 1968 & 1969 Fairlanes and Torinos. I know that Flowmaster has a system but I was contacting these guys on a question about having a system with X-pipe for my 66 390 C/6. Product manager Mike Zimmerman has requested some more info. How many folks would be interested in a complete 2-1/2 or 3 system? Dont know how many interests he needs but Ill forward a number to him after this poll and see if it is enough. If you might be interested in having this available contact me at [email protected] there is no obligation just interest. Thanks, ------------------ Doug ( Fairlaniac ) 1966 Fairlane 390/C6 www.fairlanet.com

I could get interested in such a set-up too...but my 1968 Torino GT Fastback has a 351C that was never intended to be in the car...and I'm using Sanderson Shorty Headers , so a scratch built system seems to be my only real option.I also have a 351W with Roush Heads on it that may go into the 68...and if I switch to that option?...I may have to give this a real look. Thanks for doing the leg work on this. Regards, Allen

I'll pass on the info to Pypes. Cost will be determined later I'm sure. What is going to happen most likely is they will produce a kit from where headers would start with pipe from header, X-pipe or H-pipe, extension pipes, mufflers, over the axle pipes out the back and paralell to the gas tank. Down pipes for stock maniflods will be an option (you'll pay extra for that).------------------ Doug ( Fairlaniac ) 1966 Fairlane 390/C6 www.fairlanet.com
