I have some pulleys from a 69 Cougar that had AC and some brackets from a 68 Fairlane wagon that had AC. Both cars had 390s in them and was wondering if they are compatible or interchangeable. Anybody know the difference between 68 & 69 or have some numbers? I have a book that shows a diagram but it says it is for 67-70 and I know the 67 uses the early style dampener and crank pulley. I have this also posted in the Mustang section but dont know how many of you mid-size guys get over there.

I thought the 67 used the thinner type that had one pulley attached. If more was needed then they just added them.

Im trying to work out a trade and the guy is looking for some 69 390 brackets and pulleys. I have some 69 and some 68 stuff and want to be sure of what I have before I offer it to him. I dont have any numbers at the moment because that stuff is at my parents house. I figured that if I ask now at least I would have something to compare it with while I was there.
