iam new to the site but have some questions for you guys who obiviously know more about this stuff than i do. I am thinking of picking up a 1964 Mercury cyclone for $500. The interesting thing is that it has a fully boxed frame and has factory traction arms, also it has a C4 tranny. I was wondering what is the possibility of this being a factory drag car and or is this car something unique? any feed back would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Those cars were unibody,IIRC. I would try to find out more history on the car before jumping to conclusions.
