What does the 40 in this VIN stand for? 6A40S204099Is it just a 2 door hard top or is it a GT? How can you tell if a 66-67 is a GT other than seeing emblems? ------------------ Ed S. 68 S-code FB GT 4spd(now C6)/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code(now 289) Cp Sprint"B" C4/3L00-9" PDB PS AC 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3L55

code 40 refers to 2 door hardtop with bucket seats, GT or 500, not necessarily GT or GTA. The "S" engine code is for a 390 GT engine so you are probably OK.------------------ Doug ( Fairlaniac ) 1966 Fairlane 390/C6
