You mean the Tasca car.I think they had 406 in them to start. I also think it was 1962 and ran A/FX. In 1963 Tasca received another DST prepared Fairlane this time with a 427. This car was loaded with Fiberglass and was the Model for the 64 Thunderbolts...Geoff

NO Geoff, not the Tasca 62. Alex, Where these cars actually called " Lightening Bolts " or is that the term thats been applied to them. Can you provide any info on these cars. I'll ask around some of my Ford friends....Geoff

They were indeed called "Lightning Bolts". I have heard of a few from time to time and one went through Barett Jackson 3 years ago. All I have heard is that they were 63 Fairlane base 2 door sedans that were specially prepped by "someone" for drag racing. 289 HP 4 speed and traction bars is all I know for sure. There is another one in Hemmings.
