Mike it's better then leaving it out in the open. Now if you can get a heater and lights, you'll have a shop too.

I feel bad that you lost your storage space. I offered to park the convertible outside.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150

Sure am glad we don't have to deal with that stuff down here, we can drive our cars just about year round. Every so often it does get below freezing and ther might be a little ice on the elevated roads. Those days we just don't drive them, wait a day or two and it'll be warmed up again.------------------ Ronnie 69 mach1 351W-4V engineless at the time! 70 Torino GT 351C-4v with a "shaker" Mustangs and More Member #23

Your space, your car, what's the prob? This will hopefully give me the boost to build on next spring. Then I can use this to house a parts car. Besides,If I get a good clean day to go cruise, the car is right here. If I wanted,I could probably put it at my Brother-in-law's next door, since there is space there now. Those 'Cover it' garges come in all differant sizes are are handy. Yours looks like a good size to not only park the car, but do a little work on it too. And, no storage space rent! ------------------ 70 Boss 302, 71 429 Mach1, 86 RX7 GLX 02 Z06 Vette

I piss on them now. I might as well have parked it outside. The wind was up to 40mph,and it blew right through it. Just as much snow in it as beside it. The pipes going through the end twisted like candy. I went and got a huge tarp, and after I cleaned it out I layed it down and drove the car on it. I then put my car cover on,and bagged the car up in the tarp inside the shelter. I got bigger pipes, and 18" metal stakes tying the pipes down. I also ended up shoveling snow onto it around the perimiter. Hopefully it will ice up and block out most of the wind. As for working in it,it's just as cold as being outside, and I have about 18" around the whole car. I think I am going to tap into my home equity next spring, and build some space for it. Conclusion: Don't waste your money on one of these. If you really are a car guy,put your toys away properly. It may be good for a parts car,so you don't have the eyesor to look at. Forget about weather protection.
