Does anybody know of a ram Air set-up like the T-Bolt Air Bonnet that will fit in a 65 Fairlane ( small block ). Does the Crites fit even with the braces that go from the Firewall to the shock towers. I tried to use a mid 80's Mustang air cleaner but it hits the braces. I would like to use the T-Bolt set up to the inner headlights but not lose the bracing..Thanks...Geoff

Yes, their air cleaner setup will fit with the braces inplace. You will possibly have to add the air tube clearance panel for the drivers side if you take out the head inner headlights. It does require moving the battery to another location.

Judging by the pic , do you need the Teardrop hood for it all to fit. Mine is a single Holley 4bbl on a 302. Is this a Crites set-up? Does anybody know exactly what I might need from them. Does the battery have to be relocated? I'm trying to make this as painless as possible

The only place I know that is reproducing "correct" T-bolt style air box is Mark from M&R Motorsports in Ontario, Canada. His email is [email protected]. He now makes a single carb version as well as the dual carb version. The air box that Crites sells, is an oval air cleaner with sides added to them. You will definitly need a teardrop hood (or other type of scoop) and relocate your battery.

I bought the 2x4 air box from Mark and will be using it on my 289

Looks like the set-up can get pricey. How much for the Air box from the guy in Canada. Does look good though....

I believe the last time I priced the ram air box from the guy in Canada it was like $350 or so plus shipping.
