I charged the AC in my car the other day,and it seems to work! I used an R-134A conversion kit. It blows 50* at the vent. They are supposed to be 40-45*. It shows circulation in the sight glass, and the lines to the evaporator,STV valve are frosted over. No leaks. I did notice the warm water cutoff motor in the open position while in AC,so I think once I troubleshoot the vacuum system,I'll have ice cold air. I have the shop manuals, and they tell how to diagnose them step by step. The motor does work, just not in all the control positions. The previous owner did cut some lines,And I serviced the heater core a while back. I may have a line somewhere blocked/crossed/unplugged.Not too bad,for a system that was wide open when I got the car 3 years ago.

I t/s'ed the vacuum system this afternoon, and found it leaking at the temp selector. The harness seemed to be loose, but I couldn't get a good look at it,so I cleaned it and plugged it in good. I may have pulled it loose when I tied the wires from the stereo to the vacuum harness. We'll see if it works later this week.
