does anyone know which of the two fittings on the AOD sends fluid & which is the return line? My fittings are on the pass. side of the case one above the other & i;m not in a position to crank engine over to see which line fluid flows from Roger

It looks like the fluid is discharged out of the lower port and returns to the upper.https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/000438.html ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com

Steve: You;re the first person to give me an answer on this, some have said its the forward fitting, but i think they mean the C-4 as the AOD fittings are in line one on top of the other. Thanks Roger in Toronto

Yes, the lower port seems to come right out of the pump from what I can see in the manual, and the upper port goes to the valve body. That's my best guess without having one on my bench to look at. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com

Steve: Now Ford Performance tells me the upper is the outlet & the lower is the return, i guess i;ll have to wait until i fire her up to be sure, damn i ran the lines so nice & neat to Roger
