hhheeellp i just got a snall block tranny fron my friend. he said it was a c4, its out of his truck. But it has a one piece case with a square pan with a angled area toward the rear of the pan. its not notched like a c6. It also has a 35 cast in to the bell housing.Any idea to what it is . Also are there any picture sites or drawing in here on ford trannys thanks oh one more thing the input shaft has three steps to it,three different sets of splines in a stepped set up

With an angled area at the rear of the pan and the 3 step input shaft it almost sounds like an AOD.. Is there anythign stamped into the bottom of the pan??? Also, ee if the smallest shaft, that goes into the converter, on the front of the trans will pull out...[This message has been edited by Maxwell_fax (edited 03-12-2003).]

Went to the baufman site its an aod. I have one of thier shift kits comeing
