Check out my "Near Death Experience" post on the racing board. It really wasn't a racing item, I hope it doesn't piss anyone off.

Holy crap eh. Lucky you weren't hurt, or anyone else. Not sure about the insurance thing being Im in a different planet then you Hope all works out for you. They do make 1/4's for the Fairlane, but they are 1/2 quarters, so it is easy for you to repair (dont need the full 1/4). Im doing my 1/4's and rockers very soon and the quality where I got them is great, not cheap tin foil 1/4's. You said babysitter in the story, thank god you didnt have your kids in there. They would be totally scared of the car I bet. Glad your ok.

On a littler note, I have a complete set of hubcaps (14inch) that came off my Fairlane, they arent mint but near it, you interested. I will take some pix if you are.

Yes, the family in the car would have really sucked. I may have reacted differently too, who knows. My wife really doesn't like the car since I put the new motor in. Shakes to much at idle and is too load. If she would have been in there for that she would NEVER have gone in the car again.

The funny thing is I traded my motorcycle for the car for two reasons. First I had a few close calles on the bike (nothing like this though) and decided a car was a wiser choice for safety. Also, my wife would not allow my 8 year old son on the bike. I didn't like going for a ride all alone and felt I could spend more leisure time (I get very little of that) with the family in a car.

I would be very interested in trim rings for the car. I lost two in the incident. I was already keeping an eye open for them but have not seen any. May be interested if they are the center type caps. Not really interested in full hub caps though. Maybe you should just e-mail me a picture.

Thanks,
B-loose
