Will a sending unit from a 65 or 66 mustang work in a 61 Falcon Tank?

65 fastback. 302, Paxton Supercharger 7PSI, Edelbrock heads and intake,flowtechs with cutouts, x pipe and 2.5in flows. 4 speed. 449rwhp and 410ft lbs through the mufflers on 93 octane. 7.7 @ 94.7 mph 1/8 mi, 1.84 60ft.
