A good friend of mine has a 289 block with 260 heads in a 1963 Falcon. Does anybody know if there are some inexpensive headers available for this combo? Thanks Ernie ------------------ Red Fire Clearcoat 65 Fastback, 408W. Looking at Summit looks like Patriot sells some. Might check 'em out.

Hooker competition headers part # 6901 will fit a '63 Falcon with a SBF quite well. These are the cheaper "competition" headers, not the super comps. I think they are listed for '66 - up falcon, but they are what I had in my '63 Ranchero.

I have a set of Hedman 88400 shorties on my 62 Comet 2 door that work perfect for 60-65 Falcons and Comets with auto trans in the floor .I am running a 302 4 speed set up and am having to modify my Z bar for clearance.I got mine from Jegs for $137.00.Later,Heath------------------ Black 1962 Mercury Comet 2 door 302 4V 4 speed 5 lug
