John My wife reminded me that she needs a cap for her Maverick. Can you send me a pic of it and how much you would sell it for?

I have the original gas cap off my old '73 Grabber that I drove to the crusher years ago when I lived in the New Mexico desert. You can have it for shipping costs if you want it. It is bright chrome (no pitting) but it had some dings in it and the clear plastic is cracked but the bulls heads under the clear plastic is still in great shape. This is a desert cap so it has not seen any salt or nasty weather. ------------------ Kent '68 Falcon wagon stock 289 '65 Fairlane 500 wagon 10.5:1 351W '78 Fairmont wagon 10.5:1 302 '76 Pinto wagon 392 stroke '01 Focus SE DOHC 2.0L '04 Explorer XLT 4.6 3.73 trac lock What is this FE fixation for which there seems to be no real cure? Update!!! I got the cap! Thanks again Kent. I have an extra center emblem from a 70 front grill and the emblem part is in great shape and will fit right in the cap section so it will look like new.

1970 was the first model year... they came out in April (5th anniversary of the Mustang actually) so the early ones are often called 69 1/2. Those have the key on the dash.
