I wanted to know a bit more about the 260 in my FalconFutura. My dad bought the car for me when I was a freshman in high school and we spent a bit of time rebuilding the motor, front end and gave it a sweat paint job. After eight years it needs to be worked over again and I need some good places to get parts(to rebuild the engine) and maybe fenders. anyone that can teach me something feel free to do so. Cal Registered: Dec 2001	posted 12-18-2004 06:29 PM One place that has rebuild kits for a 260 V8 is Egge Obsolete Engine parts: www.egge.com/ If you want to "upgrade" you will need to find an early 289 with a 5 bolt pattern for the transmission bellhousing (later 289's and all 302's have a six bolt pattern).
