I thought I'd put this here, it wouldn't qualify under any other category. Is there any website out there that has info on improving these engines, or shops that cater to them. Nice performing car but would like to find some more. Plus I can mess with some of this EFI stuff. :-) Thank You! Randy

there's really a car club for the tortoise? my wife has a green 93, but its just the standard 3.0. must be the slowest one ever built. the trans slips so bad when shifting into high gear, been doing it for years but this year its getting worse. the only bright spot....the factory must've run out of rack n pinions when it was comming down the line, its got an sho rack in it. its beat a couple of ricers once with kids in the backseat sucking on lolipops watching the whole event in total bordem. ------------------ 306, 4speed, 4.11's....best 1/8 mile 7.58 at 92mph with 1.72 60ft. I have 2 a SHO and a 2000 SEL. The SHO boogies good for a 6. The 2000 does OK with the 24V DOHC motor 200 HP version. Just to let you know if you have a 2000 there is nothing out there but a chip for it. I wouldnt waste my money on that engine enhancing performance.

As delicate as those transaxles are, I wouldn't be too confident pushing much more torque through it.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip
