A buddy and I changed the idler arm, lower ball joints, brake hose, and shocks on the '65 Falcon the other day. Idler arm, hose and ball joints went smooth as silk... but the job we thought would be the easiest (shocks) were a real pain in the rear!!! The shoulder bolts that hold the shock brackets kept sliding around and falling out, had to repeatedly jack the car up and down to get the brackets aligned with the bolts after bolting the shock to the bracket...what a pain!!! Anyone else have this pleasure of hard time?
