Gunrocker and I went to a car show today at Brooke Hills Park, beautiful day with around 60 cars there. With only 3 trophies to be given out (plaques actually) we were one of the winners with our '65 Falcon...the Park Employees Choice winner! Yay!  ...Chris

Hey guys...since I posted that back in July...we got another one just this past Monday!Not that it means a great big deal to get a trophy, and sometimes it just might be the luck of the owner to whoever LIKES your car that is judging it, rather than how nice your car REALLY is.
It's kinda like the luck of the draw. The BEST thing in going to a car show is meeting all the nice people, and having some good fun seeing all the old cars, and eating all that good food!

Very it's a great looking car. One that others enjoying looking and unstand the hard work it takes get it there, and keep it there. Thats what the trophy's mean.------------------

Heres a great one! I went to a 100 point system Judged car show on Sunday. When I got there I entered then parked my car. This show was a benafit for a 24 year old girl that needs a Kidney transplant. I was only there for 15 minutes and one of the officials that knows me a little bit came up to me and asked if I would be able to be a Judge for them. So I agreed but only if I could do the R-1 and R-2 Ford classes. They knew I was well informed on those cars so they agreed. But I then remembered that my car was in the R-2 Class! They said my car could not be Judged because of a conflict in interest. So I had to withdraw my car from the judging. After the show one of the other judges said my car would have scored 93 out of 100 if he had judged it!! So this was good enough for me!!

Well Scoop...maybe your right! There were over 100 cars there, and I feel a little proud that we did get one! Another cool thing about it is if you ever have to (God Forbid) sell the car, it IS a little selling point in your favor!

Ya its pretty cool! I can't tell how suprised I was. There was alot of nice cars there, To be asked to bring my car up for photos and the trophy was pretty cool!!
