It's a 64 Ranchero!!My buddy John got it from another friend, was part of a deal on a 65 Falcon coupe. Guy just didn't want the 'chero. Too bad for him. Here's the info: VIN: 4H27F147172 Plant: Lorain OH Engine: 260 V8 Body: 66A : Ranchero (std) Color: A : Raven Black Trim: 44 : Medium beige bench Date: 20M : 12/20/63 DSO: 65 : Oklahoma City Axle: 4 : 3.25 non-locking Trans: 5 : 4-speed Must have been a pretty sweet little ride when it was new. Car came from Texas at some point, still has the Texas plates and all. Plans at present are to just get it running and driving. The body is not terrible, but has a couple good dents. Floors are MIA, must have left themselves in Texas.. He's got a 5.0 from an 87 Mustang, I'll loan a toploader to get it going. We'll get it running and driving and then take it from there. Some floors are part of the plan as well. I do have aquestion...motor mounts. The 64 style V-8 mounts are nearly impossible to find from what I've "heard". What will bolt in as a replacement. I've heard that later style Mustang mounts will work, but I just want to be sure.

Sounds like a nice ride. I checked my Dearborn Classics catalog and found them under part numbers MM102L and MM102R for the SBF. (Unfortunately, they don't show a set for cramming a 429/460 or FE in there...)------------------ -Paul 70 Mach1 351C 79 Ranchero GT 97 Expedition XLT 5.4 00 SVT f150 Lightning 4149 of 4966 Born on: 06/26/2000 'If you're not the lead dog, the view never changes.'
