Ok I got my new bell housing. I have the smaller one (for the 157 tooth flex plate) My problem now is that I have an old style integrated torque converter / ring gear that I cannot use. I have a 157/50oz on order but I dont know anything about which converter I need to get. Are there different spline types that will fit this bell housing / flex plate or is there only one?

The convertor with the attached ring gear is a 6 cylinder piece. There are two splines, early C4 has 24 spline, '70 and later has 26.

You do realize the 50oz flexplate is for engines '82 and newer, right? '81 and earlier used 28.2oz.
