I think I am going to get one from a '76 Mustang II. Although everything will bolt together I am not sure which flex plate I need or if my old converter will bolt up..any ideas? THANKS!!! IP: Logged

If you are putting a 5.0L against it, you have to consider the imbalance problem. The later 5.0L (1982/) will have a 28oz. imbalance whereas the 5.0L/302 before that date will have the 50oz. imbalance. I do not know of a 148T flexplate with the 50oz. imbalance, so you are going to have to have everything balanced together, unless someone like TCI offers one.
