does anyone know who makes light weight fiberglass parts for a 1965 comet? I am looking for a trunk lid, one piece front end, a hood with cowel and doors. I have been told that Falcon doors are the same? Is this true?

You know...this is interesting. I have seen a 64 COMET front clip placed on a 64 RANCHERO body and the lines seemed to match (looking at photo). I am expecting LINC-MERC parts listings to arrive in a few days and I will check to see if both have the same PN. I have wondered about this also.

thank you for the help. but no one make light weight parts for these cars. I did find a shop that would make the molds and build the parts but just the molds were $1000 or more each.

Crites make fiberglass fenders, hood, trunk lid and I thought doors also. I had a price list from about 4 years ago with these parts but they where bolt on replacement style.
My freind bought a t-bolt hood for his 64 fairlane from Crites and the quality was good.
There is a company in the Vancouver area that makes fiberglass parts and they had falcon parts and where working on getting comet parts. I lost their adress. I got their adress from Tom Postuma, he posts on M&M sometimes. I think it was called Areo something.

There was a guy selling a glass nose on E-Bay a while back for a Comet. I couldn't find it.
