Okay so we made mounts for the 302 for my mav. It sits too high, and now I cant fit the damn air cleaner on. I give up with making mounts. Can someone give me a link to where I can find motor mounts and the supports? I havent found any links successful yet. The I6 ones obviously dont work. I just wanna drive!!! Appreciate any help.[This message has been edited by 70MAVRK (edited 03-16-2004).]

The 302 uses mounts unique to Mavericks. Look for "frame mounts". Then the motor mounts fit to these. If no one here has them, look on the Maverick message board or the Cameo board classified section. AutoKrafters may have some too. Good luck, Jerry O.

I checked Auto Krafters yesterday for him and I didn't see them listed. I have one I don't remember what side it is. maybe we can come up with a pair? Does anyone have any odd-balls? I don't want any personal accounts of this just the facts!!

I feel quite accomplished. Modified our mounts to fit (without air cleaner). I'm going to get the Mr. Gasket Street Scoop II. In the process of making a custom tranny crossmember for the AOD. I will have to hunt for a driveline that is about 2 inches longer than mine, but how card could it be? Ha, to think I almost payed for something I could make
