Why are there so few quality pics of Mavs/ Late model Comets on the net? They're such cool cars! Are those Explorer/Ranger wheels? [This message has been edited by falcon64 (edited 02-11-2004).]

Wow, When I posted that pic I didn't even consider that it could be owned by a user here. Yes, sweet ride. Is the scoop and hood tach? factory?

user yes, but when I saw the pic, I registered. the scoop is factory, yes. the hood tach was not for that car, but Ive seen it on some nice cars, like the Shelby Maverick and Pontiacs. I liked it, so it went on. (JcWhitney at its finest). http://www.iit.edu/~petebre/maverick/owners/rus.html Thanks! [This message has been edited by mercgt73 (edited 02-11-2004).]

Questions are meant to be asked. Ill do my best to help. And thanks for the compliments, its nice to get recognized! One of the plans for the Comet is a huffed 331 EFI... I dont have much experience in aftermarket 5.0L stuff, so Im sure my questions will be flying! ------------------ -Rusty '73 Mercury Comet GT '74 Mustang II Class 1 '83 Olds Daily Hoop Ride
