Seems awful slow on this particular forum, so I thought I'd post these pics for you square body fans. If I come across some good Mav pics I'll post them too. Have a good weekend guys! [This message has been edited by falcon64 (edited 01-30-2004).]

Ok, who swiped the starter! Very nice, my buddy had a nice metallic blue '65 with baby moons in high school, I thought that was a cool cruising unit! ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip

Oooooh, Aaaaah, and droool. I just love the square Falcons, if they had ever come with a four barrel I would have bought one. At that time I was racing NHRA Stock Eliminator and didn't want to race with a two barrel.John

What really blows me away about this '64 is the engineering, I.E. the total control suspension, the heim joints and use of aluminum on the underhood braces. I'm sure there's more great stuff that we can't see.

John you were racing when the 64 was a new car. I've always liked square cars they look mean standing still. I think thats why I like the 65 coupe better then the FB.

Scoop, my first drag race (on a race track) was about 58 or 59. Took my 54 Merc out and got waxed by an Oldsmobile. That set the hook. I couldn't wait to try again.John
