I put my 302 hedders (88300) on my 351 and rub the floorboards also can't get collector extensions to work with crossmember I had to dimple the hedders badly to get them on I have a new set of headman 88660 for a 351 in a 65 mustang I'm going to try

Welcome to M&M  and please let us know how the other headers fit. There is so little aftermarket stuff specifically made for Maverick/Comet.------------------

THE HEADERS I'VE ORDERED I'LL BE INSTALLING LATER THIS WEEK, I'LL LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW IT GOES, FROM WHAT EVERYONE HAS TOLD ME IS THAT IF YOU HAVE A COLUMN SHIFTER YOUR IN SERIES TROUBLE... YOU WOULD THINK SOME ONE WOULD MAKE A SPECIAL DESIGN FOR THE MAVS AND COMETS.... THEY COULD PROBABLY CHARGE A DECENT PRICE AND GET IT.... ANYWAY I HAVE A 4 SPD SO HOPEFULLY IT WILL WORK.... I WENT TO THERE WEB SITE AND THEY ACTUALLY LISTED IT UNDER THE 70S MERCURY COMET 351W OF COURSE NOT TO BE USED WITH A COLUMN SHIFTER..------------------
