Falcon 64...Thank you so much...glad you like it!"Arrest me red"...That's funny! Actually it's a color taken from the Ranger pickups, I think it's Competition Red, or Power Red...something like that. The previous owner has a quart of it he's going to give us for touchups so I'll get the true name of it then. Sure is BRIGHT though!!! It's running a '65 Mustang A Code 289 engine that has been totally rebuilt with less than 5,000 miles on it. It has a Crane cam (don't know the specs, but it sure rumbles) Edelbrock Performer maniflod, Edelbrock 600 Carb, '65 Sprint drivetrain (shaft, mounts etc.)...C-4 that has been built up for racing and has only 500 miles on it. Rear end is from a '74 Bronco 9" with 3:20 gears (originally thought they were 2:50's). My husband has a set of 3:70's he may put in them...not sure yet! Also has all new heavy duty springs front and rear, Gabriel gas shocks up front, and Gabe air shocks in the rear. It needs the kickdown linkage for the tranny...know where I can get one? ...Christine [This message has been edited by christang (edited 10-06-2003).] [This message has been edited by christang (edited 10-25-2003).]

AWESOME !!!! There is Yellow one in Reno set up a lot like yours. He has the thunderbolt hood and it looks BADDD. BTW he sold it this fall for $10,000. But if it was mine I'd get some bigger tires on the rear.Because it most like driving on ice now. ------------------ SCOOP 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. Scoop...Funny, my husbands buddy was over here the other day looking at it (he's a Chevy Nova owner) and he told my husband "You know,if you put a set of Cragars and a Thunderbolt hood on this car, I bet you could get $10,000 for it!" After YOU telling us THAT...hmmmmm!!! Something to think about! ...Chris

Now thats amazing because the guys had Cragar SS rims on his. What a sweet car it was I looked at it many times. No way I was going to pay $10000 for it.But then again if I would have had the money at the time.I know I'd be out cruising it now. My first Ford ever was a 65 Falcon. You wnat they say about first loves. ------------------ SCOOP 2.26 60'S 14.9 @ 90.86MPH 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics

Not too bad yet. We have lows the 30s and highs in the upper 60s. Won't last, though.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150
