I have a set of Hooker Super Comps on my car... Anyone know of any that have a bigger primary tube? Maybe a step? Thanks

What tranny and shifter do you have? What size are your primaries now? There aren't too many options for Mavericks unless your linkage will let a Mustang header fit.

I doubt you'll find a 1 7/8. Look at Mustang headers that might fit with little modification. Also try contacting Tubular Automotive.

Just my opinion but in most cases with cast heads on ford small blocks they don't need that large of a pipe anyway. The 1'5/8 are more than enough.

Maybe not if you're running 10s. Yowza, that's fast!

69's probably right..... But I'm in the process of building a new engine, with more cu.in's and Victor Jr heads... So I'm just seeing what's out there. I did buy a set of FRPP nickel plated headers along time ago, seems they were for mustangs and other cars too. They fit but I didn't know then that the slave cylinder for the p.s. had to use a bracket to lower it. Took them back to Ford!!!

You'll find that with any set of headers you'll use, as far as I know.
