OK, here they are...I finally installed the shocks that Calvert Racing says work the best with there traction bars. These are Rancho RS 9000 5-way adjustable shocks...yep, you read correctly, truck shocks on my Comet...they said that they have gotten the best results with these shocks so I got a pair....the installation is not the easiest in the world but should yield some good results...here's a picture

Nicely done!I thought all 71-up Maverick/Comets had staggered shocks? Did you move one? ------------------ -Charlie Ping 1970 Maverick Grabber [email protected] with AC and overdrive. http://www.maverickgrabber.com

I moved them both to around behind the rearend and placed them both straight up and down with a slight angle to the rear of the vehicle...this is how Calvert Racing said to put them in...new upper and lower shock mount....

Yeah, not for me though Steve I looked into staggering mine but my new exhaust is in the way. Maybe I can fit shocks in this fashion, I'll have to look into it. What application, if any, are these shocks for?

I'm not sure what the application is but the part# is RS9136...it's a shock eye on the top and a stud on the bottom....I used the Competition Engineering upper shock mount kit...

Good luck.
