like all of you prolly know by now, i'm lookin for a daily driver for when i get my license. i'm lookin at 2 cars right now. a '70 mav and a 68 fairlane 500. the mav has a 250 6, auto, very lil rust, 130,000miles. fairlane has zero rust (on the outside) 302, auto, bucket seats (originally had bench seat). i would like your personal opinion, if u were 16, (i'm 14 now) would u be more interested in the maverick or fairlane. the mav is $2200, fairlane is $3000

As the proud owner of a 70 Maverick You know my opinion!!! The only thing I will say is buy rust free both cars are nice in there own right!! The 500 does have a 302. Thats a plus!!

being fifteen myself i might be able to help you out with this choice

i would get the mav and heres why

1 smaller
2 cooler
3 sportier
4 not so g'ma
5 original - not too many people have heard of maverick but they did here of fairlanes

they just look like they are... well... cooler
