 | posted 02-12-2002 03:45 PM Yeah, I have actualy met several people who want them, with Mustangs and Falcon mostly. Maybe I can work something out. Even though I WASN'T impressed with their service.
Heres what I found today this is a copy of an e-mail I sent to a guy with a falcon who wants them. I wrote: I called FM today....I asked if they carried Granada dropped spindles? He said "only the ones we fabricate." I didn't realy understand what he meant, he was very short with me. So I asked you do have dropped spindles that will work for Granada applications? He said, "Yes the ones we make, do you want a catalog?" I asked if it had pictures that I could see what the spindles looked like. The rep said, "It has pictures of everything we carry." Seemed in a hurry? So he is sending me a catalog free of charge. So from what I get from what he said, they no longer alter the stock spindles? When I get the catalog, and if it does have any info or pictures I will send them your way. -Mike [This message has been edited by SundanceKid (edited 02-12-2002).] IP: Logged |

 | posted 02-15-2002 07:34 AM Fatman makes some pretty nice stuff, a friend is building a 40 2 door sedan with Fatman frame and mustang II front suspension, it all looked real nice.
I don't think he had any trouble with their service when he ordered his chassis, they even opened up on a Sunday (appointment) so he could pick it up. IP: Logged |

 | posted 02-18-2002 09:11 PM Rovic, on your tip I called a few people and none of them have seen or heard of a Versailles spindle being any higher then the Granada spindle.
The people with whom I spoke with said the only differance between the two is the lower balljoint hole.
I rechecked my measurements and a 2" will be nessesary anyway. Thanks for the help.
