IT IS FINALLY ON!!!!
YES, I FINALLY FOUND THE TIME!!!!
Ok, so we put the Focus up on ramps, sawzall-ed the stock exhaust in two pieces, then just bolted up the borla unit.
Piece of cake.

And you know what?-It's mild. Not that loud at all. From all the talk I heard on the Focus bulletin boards, I was fearing that the system would be too loud. I find it just fine--of course, most of the guys posting on a Focus board don't drive a '66 stang with a 351 running dual glasspacks.

Performance? It's there. Subtle, but there. After driving it a couple of miles, I noticed the car seemed much more drivable, acceleration is better.

Sound? Well, like I said, I don't think it's too loud at all, and as for HOW it sounds, I was very worried I was gonna end up sounding like an import-racer. No, the Borla is a good system, it sounds deep, and never gets "buzzy". I've heard others say it sounds similar to 60s British Sports Cars, I think that's true, in that you can tell it's a four-cylinder, but it still sounds cooler than a Honda.

And, I only have the SPI. I wonder how much the Zetec boys would get from the same system....

Very cool! a decent sounding exhaust really makes a car more fun to drive.

That's great!

I love Borlas. I just installed a pair on the Maverick. Sound is very mellow at idle, very quiet actually. Above 3000 RPM though, it sounds sweet! I am very happy. I bought the mufflers used on Ebay for $75 and I bent the 2.5" pipe myself, so for $100 you can't beat it
