A buddy of mine has a 63 Falcon 2 door station wagon, that was originally a 260 V8,automatic car, with power steering. A few years back, he sold all the power steering stuff,as he wanted manual steering, now he says he can`t find a center link that will work in his car. He said that his car has an idler arm that mounts with 3 bolts, rather than 2. I know that my 64 Falcon that was originally a 6 had different steering components than a V8 car, but shouldn`t any centerlink from a 65-66 Mustang V8 car with manual steering work? Would 64-65 V8 Falcon stuff work? He is talking about spending a bunch of $$$$ having a Mustang11 clip installed because of this, I just find it hard to believe that it is impossible to get a manual steering center link for a V8 Falcon with man. steering.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA Stocker under construction, 302 5 speed

Try www.rareparts.com They should have the center link.Kinda pricey maybe, but cheaper than a Mustang II set-up. Early Mustang centerlinks won't work on a Falcon.I think '63&'64 V8 cars had 3 bolts on the idler and '65 has 2.------------------ "Just Falcon Around" 1962 Falcon 351W 1958 Morris Minor 289

the whole steering linkage off a 65-66 Mustang will work tho... need idler, pitman, center and end links.

the 3 bolt mounting could be changed or adapted to allow a 2 bolt mount to sit in the same spot.
