I'm new to this falcon thingee(check sig)but not to fords.Just bought a 65 Ranchero 200 six,c4,manual brakes and steering stock down to the hubcaps except for a repaint only had 2 owners and I know them both(customers of mine).Anyhow...gave 2000.00 for it seemed ok to me or did I gooy up again no rust and body is almost perfect,just some parking lot rash. Thanks Jay

Sounds like a great price, the '65 is probably one of the most desirable body styles for the Ranchero and even though its just a six A straight, rust free body is the hardest part to find!

Are you planning on modifying it or restoring it?

probably keep it stock at least for 6 mo to a year then the bug WILL bite and all those Mustang "leftovers" will need a good home(always a small block lying around here lookin'lonsome)Hey maybe that 260 over in the corner...HMMMM!

sounds like you got a good deal to me. i have a 64 falcon futura my aunt gave me and it is need of rust repair(originaly bought in az, but traveled to ca, la, and pa(lot of a's there)). otherwise the car is in pretty good shape. it might yet get a 289 and aod.
