Does anyone have pictures of outside mirrors for a 64/65 falcon. The mirrors that came with the car (in a box with a bunch of other parts) don't match up to the existing holes in the door. I really like the shape of the mirrors (rectangle) and think they go well with the body lines but everyone says the factory mirrors are round. I also heard that the later year falcons had rectangle mirrors. If I install the mirrors that came with the car over the existing holes I won't be able to use the wing window. I even tried my 65/66 mustang mirrors and they don't fit either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Tom

Sorry, I don't have a picture but I'll try to search for one for you. I know that Mavericks had square mirrors and so would be willing to bet that the '69 Falcons did too.

Northwest Classic Falcons in Portland, Ore. would be a good source.

Thanks for the response guys. I'm having a problem with finding a photo of a falcon (any year) that actually shows the mirrors. I have been to a few falcon only businesses and I can't seem to find a mirror photo. Am I not looking in the right places?

CP--thanks very much for posting those photos. In the last photo the mirror looks square/rectangle and the more I stare it looks round, which is it. I went to a site the other night that had an online catalog and found some mirror pictures. The problem is that they showed the same pictures for several years and for different models. I'm thinking they were just lazy. Do the mirrors bend away from the wing window so it can open? As in does the mount curve away from the window? My parents just moved and sent me a photo of a 65 falcon sedan delivery deluxe that they saw!!! The mirror on it is mounted on the top of the A pillar and is round, has anyone ever seen this before?

thanks
Tom
