Can we help him in his search for more information on the Cougar 500's Thanks Sam I still hope to find something out about a short run of 1968 Mercury Cougars called Cougar 500s (that's why I was researching ads in the Washington Post microfilms). According to a Cougar expert, 16 White 428 CJ [R-code] Cougars were built in succession, with 6 going to the Atlanta (DSO 21) region and 10 going to the Washington, D.C. (DSO 17) region.
