trying to find out how many of these were built. standard cougar, not an eliminator or anything like that. i have not had any luck on google. figured some our cougar gurus could help. thanks

To get that specific you'll probably have to ask Kevin Marti. I don't have his Cougar book, but I have his Mustang book and while it gives body types and engine figures you can't cross reference them. You probably need Marti's computer for that.

I turned down a Shelby GT350H for $2000 in 1968 because I already had a Mustang.

If we just had time machines for a little while we would all be either richer from selling those classics or really poor from paying storage costs on all thiose cars.
