I have a '69 cougar with a 390/C-6 and needed some new heads so I found some heads that are supposedly 428 CJ heads. They have 16 bolt holes on the exhaust side and the casting number is C7AE-A. The only thing I could come up with is that they came out of a '67 Galaxie. Also are these better than the 390 GT heads that came on it?------------------ 69 Cougar XR7 67 Mustang 91 Mustang

Early CJ heads would be C80E J or N------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,&'03 First SS/MA in the TENS!
