Where can I get more info on the Shelby stuff? I've seen the brochures for sale, but does anyone have a site on the net that shows this stuff?I have of course seen the Cougar valve covers reproduced, and the intakes pop up now and then, but who has a picture of a Shelby fiberglass Cougar hood?

FOMOCO OBSOLETEI have a copy (run off copier) of the origional SHELBY COUGAR catalog from the above source. It is not of good enough quality to scan. If you are into COUGAR, you need this catalog (copy actually. I think he has one origional copy and only sells copies from it). It does not show the illustration of the SHELBY HOOD (S7WK 16612-A) but lists it on the order form from SHELBY AMERICAN, INC. I think I will E-MAIL him myself and ask if he is willing to put the material on a scanner. ------------------ I am looking for information concerning factory performance/aftermarket speed parts (1958/1960) used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) (Also Thunderbird 59/60) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) produced from 1958 thru 1968. -Descriptive Article On Ross Meyer 67 SHELBY COUGAR--Descriptive Article On John Hildebrand 1967 SHELBY COUGAR- I am not sure if the 1967 SHELBY COUGAR hood had a scoop or louvers. The above page shows an actual TRANS-AM Cougar. The 1967 SHELBY MUSTANG (street) had two hood styles, one with a scoop and one with the scoop and louvers.
