I have a factory style wing on the back of my car that has had spacers installed under the normal base for the wing. I would like to take these out, but if I do that, it looks like the ends of the wing itself might touch the body of the car.

Does anyone have the correct height for the cougar wing pedestals??? Are the pedestals available separate?

Thanks,
Tom

Tom, I found out by looking in my Osborn Body Assembly manual that the Cougar and the Mustang had different part numbers for the spoiler stands.

DOWB-6544226-A for the Cougar, D0ZB-6544226-A for the Mustang.

Steve- thanks for the part #'s

KK- if you could do that sometime, it would be greatly appreciated!

From doing some research, I have found that the 69 cougar wing has pedestals 33" apart, whereas the 70 has the pedestals 36" apart. I have seen one reference to the pedestal height being around 3.5" tall.

The wing currently on my car is 33" between the pedestals with a pedestal height of @2-2.5 inches. I will probably take this wing off and replace it with a correct one eventually.

Thanks!

Tom
